Clive Dias

Clive is a seasoned entrepreneur and the Founder, President and CEO of iS5 Communications Inc. He has well over 25 years’ experience in the Power, Transmission and Distribution, and Communications industries with GE Multilin and RuggedCom. At RuggedCom, Clive was the Chief Operations Officer where he provided short and long term growth strategies while spearheading the expansion of the company operations locally and internationally. He provided hands on leadership and engagement through various cross functional departments while maintaining and optimizing P&L responsibilities. He participated in the company’s successful M&A activity, integration activities, and instrumental in the overall growth of the company since inception. He succeeded in meeting the demands of the company’s increasing revenues year over year leading to the eventual sale of the company. Prior to RuggedCom, he worked at GE Multilin as the Manager of Mechanical Design and Manufacturing Test. He was integral in the design of products and solutions and in the sale of the company to GE. Clive is a CMET from Ryerson University, has a Six Sigma Blackbelt, and holds 6 patents.

Maurizio Milani

Maurizio joined iS5 Communications in March 2021, bringing 20 years of combined experience across finance, mergers and acquisitions, investment banking and corporate development. Prior to iS5Com, Maurizio served as CFO and strategic partner to entrepreneurs and management teams of a number of technology start-up and scale up companies where he played a key role in enterprise value creation through financial and business strategy, fundraising and finance function leadership. CFO roles have included Strongpoint (acquired by Netwrix) a compliance management software company, Daisy Intelligence an applied artificial intelligence SaaS business, Alpha Recon an ESRM software company and Epik Networks a unified communication service provider. Previously, Maurizio held roles with various investment banks, including as the National Co-Head of Corporate Finance and M&A Advisory for the Technology, Media and Telecommunication sector at Deloitte Canada. Maurizio has an MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business and a BComm (Hons) from the Catholic University of Milan. He speaks 5 languages.

Pino Porciello

Pino Porciello joined iS5 Communications in May 2019 as the Chief Innovations Officer. He is responsible for IS5’s innovation and product portfolio strategy, and leads the technology and engineering development teams. Prior to iS5, Pino worked as the Director of Product Management and Strategic Marketing at ESCRYPT (Canada). ESCRYPT, part of the BOSCH group, is a leading global provider of embedded cyber security solutions developing highly secure products and solutions tailored to the specific requirements of Automotive, Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), and Smart City markets. He was responsible for all strategic activities (product and market) at ESCRYPT (Canada) helping drive adoption of end-end enterprise class security for connected vehicle, ITS, and Smart City applications. Pino also worked as the Vice President of Product Management and Strategic Marketing at TrustPoint Innovation Technologies, a technology company focused on developing innovative cyber security solutions for the Internet of Things. TrustPoint was subsequently acquired by ESCRYPT. Pino has also held senior commercial and technical roles at RuggedCom (VP – Strategic Marketing), General Electric (Product Management) and several early stage technology companies (Corporate and Engineering Management). He has over 25 years experience in embedded systems, industrial automation, and communication systems, and holds a Bachelors and Masters Degree in Systems Design Engineering from the University of Waterloo, a joint MBA degree from the Kellogg School of Management and Schulich School of Business, and is a member of the Professional Engineers of Ontario. His interests lie in technology product strategy, new product introductions, and helping to bring to market impactful innovation. Outside of work, Pino is an avid mountain biker, enjoys hiking and the outdoors, is known to enjoy a cocktail every now and then, and is a closet foodie.

Jonathan Azarcon

Jonathan Azarcon possesses a culmination of over 19 years’ experience in Telecommunications and IT Technology, driving Technical and Operational initiatives in start-ups and fortune 500 companies. Previously, he served as RuggedCom’s VP of Global Services & Support where he was instrumental in leading the successful launch, development and growth of the Services & Support Business before it was acquired by Siemens in 2012. Prior to that he was also a Senior Consultant at Alcatel, architecting solutions for its Global customers.

Stuart Eaton

Stuart Eaton is a seasoned business executive with 20+ years global experience in customer facing positions, selling technology solutions to Telecom, Enterprise, and Industrial markets. His professional assignments have included; Mexico, Brazil, Israel and Hong Kong among other countries. Stuart is committed to his Customers’ success and takes pride in delivering cutting-edge technology coupled with industry knowledge & know-how. Stuart earned his BA from The University of New Mexico, and is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese.

Deryk Yuill

Deryk Yuill has over 30 years of experience leading teams in the creation of innovative hardware and software solutions for electric utility and telecommunications markets. Past positions include R&D manager for the GE Substation Automation division, and VP of Technology at Bow Networks, which later became part of RuggedCom, and in turn Siemens. At Bow, Mr Yuill conceived of and led the development of CrossBow, which was the first and most widely deployed product to address NERC CIP compliance and cybersecurity for remote access to electric substation IEDs. Since 2016, he has worked as an independent consultant, helping Utilities and Vendors with issues of technology planning, cybersecurity, compliance, automation, and data communications. He has been a frequent speaker at industry conferences such as DistribuTech, and currently serves on the DNP technical committee and test management committees.

Boris Tseitin

Boris Tseitin joined iS5 Communications in 2014 as a QA Team Manager. He established and spearheaded the QA team activities and firmware version management of all products at the company and introduced automation testing as a part of the software development process. Boris is an ISTQB certified professional with over 22 years of experience in QA and 18+ years managing mid and large size QA teams. His major accomplishments as a Sr. QA Manager at Avaya Inc. were managing multiple teams of QA engineers and automation developers in data networking and IP telephony areas through entire projects life cycle. Prior to iS5, he was a QA Team Manager for Sangoma Inc., where he led the automation development for the company’s product line and managed the QA automation developers. When Boris started as a QA Engineer at Lucent Technologies/Avaya Inc., his responsibilities included integration and testing of different data networking solutions. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family, roller blading, and ice skating. Boris Tseitin has a Bachelor’s Degree (BA) in Management and Computer Sciences and an ISTQB certificate from Software QA Analyst Certificate Program. He also qualified as an ASP.NET WEB Developer and is a holder of few patents related to OT and data networking.

Natalie Zavaglia

Natalie Zavaglia joined iS5 Communications in April 2018 as a H&R Manager. She is instrumental in establishing and managing the HR function at the company and fostering the company corporate culture. Natalie brings to iS5 Communications more than 10 years of HR expertise in different industries including telecommunications, travel, and insurance. Prior to iS5, she was a HR Manager for Solar Provider Group LLC, a global renewable energy company, where she excelled in managing the full spectrum of HR programs and services. Previously, Natalie Zavaglia held multiple HR roles at Ruggedcom / Siemens Canada Limited. Outside of work, she is an avid gardener and enjoys running with her chocolate Labrador. Natalie has a Bachelor’s Degree (BA) in History from York University and attended Humber College for the Human Resources Management postgraduate program.


Stephen Mazzuca

Stephen Mazzuca in his 15 years of experience in Information Technology, has provided support in the capacity of help desk, applications specialist, network infrastructure and Security for the IT space.  He has lead teams of IT Specialists and provided direction on standards for implementing best practice methodologies for companies.  As Infrastructure Lead with Siemens, he assisted in the successful integration of RuggedCom’s Network into Siemens Network, which included the applications and infrastructure requirements following the acquisition in 2012.  He remained on, managing global solution implementations and providing services as the Information Security Contact. He continues to keep himself updated on the newest technologies, applications and threats in the IT space to ensure a proper implementation and integration in both start-ups and large corporations.  Stephen graduated from Humber College with a diploma in Computer and Network Support.


Anju Virmani

Ms Virmani has enjoyed a successful career in leading organizations through transformations in technology and managing technology strategy and risk in the C Suite. Ms. Virmani retired from her role as Chief Information Officer of Cargojet Inc. (TSX: CJT). She currently serves as a member of the board of directors of Ontario Health where she is a member of the Finance, Risk and Audit Committee, and the Innovation and Transformation Committee.

James Huff

Mr. Huff is a co-founder and Managing Partner of ClearSky. ClearSky is a venture capital/growth equity firm focused on investments in transformative technologies disrupting the power and security sectors. Mr. Huff is also Vice President of Emerging Technologies of a Fortune 200 energy company. He has extensive financial experience including structuring, due diligence and execution of debt and equity transactions in the power, technology, and security spaces. Mr. Huff has served on the Boards of Directors of multiple ClearSky portfolio companies, seeing several through to successful exits.

Marcus Böker

Managing Director of Phoenix Contact Innovation Ventures the Corporate Venture Capital Company of Phoenix Contact and Senior Director M&A of Phoenix Contact Group. Responsible for all investments and M&A activities worldwide and in different board of directors. Marcus was acting former for a public listed utility and machine builder in the department of Corporate Development and M&A.

Robert Foster

Mr. Foster has a B.A, M.A. (Economics), CFA, is Founder, President and CEO of Capital Canada Limited, an independent investment banking firm. Mr. Foster serves on various corporate boards as a member and Chair and serves as Chair of two not-for-profit arts & culture organizations.

Capital Canada focuses on private, entrepreneurially driven enterprises providing M&A, private capital funding and principal investment services.
