FOUNDER, PRESIDENT & CEO
Clive is a seasoned entrepreneur and the Founder, President and CEO of iS5 Communications Inc. He has well over 25 years’ experience in the Power, Transmission and Distribution, and Communications industries with GE Multilin and RuggedCom. At RuggedCom, Clive was the Chief Operations Officer where he provided short and long term growth strategies while spearheading the expansion of the company operations locally and internationally. He provided hands on leadership and engagement through various cross functional departments while maintaining and optimizing P&L responsibilities. He participated in the company’s successful M&A activity, integration activities, and instrumental in the overall growth of the company since inception. He succeeded in meeting the demands of the company’s increasing revenues year over year leading to the eventual sale of the company. Prior to RuggedCom, he worked at GE Multilin as the Manager of Mechanical Design and Manufacturing Test. He was integral in the design of products and solutions and in the sale of the company to GE. Clive is a CMET from Ryerson University, has a Six Sigma Blackbelt, and holds 6 patents.
Carey Chow joined iS5 Communications in 2018 as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Carey brings nearly 16 years of financial and operational experience to this position and is responsible for the overall financial strategy and operations management for iS5. Prior to iS5, Carey served as the CFO for Real-time Metrics, Quantec Geoscience, Vismand Exploration and other Startup and Scale-up companies in Toronto, Canada. He has played a key role in the growth of these companies by defining strategic direction, streamlining financial systems and policies, and working with private equity on equity and debt financing. Carey previously held multiple roles while at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Outside of work, Carey enjoys spending time with his kids, snowboarding and attending Toronto sports team events. Carey received his Bachelor of Mathematics with a Diploma in Accounting from the University of Waterloo and is a Chartered Professional Accountant CA registered in Ontario.

Jonathan Azarcon possesses a culmination of over 19 years’ experience in Telecommunications and IT Technology, driving Technical and Operational initiatives in start-ups and fortune 500 companies. Previously, he served as RuggedCom’s VP of Global Services & Support where he was instrumental in leading the successful launch, development and growth of the Services & Support Business before it was acquired by Siemens in 2012. Prior to that he was also a Senior Consultant at Alcatel, architecting solutions for its Global customers.

Tony Burge is a seasoned commercial and technical solutions executive with nearly 20 years’ experience working with mission-critical industries. Tony has held a number of Technical and Sales Management roles, including Senior Software Developer, Software Development Manager and Director of Product Management as well as commercial positions, such as Global Business Development Manager and various Sales Director roles with COMPTEK Federal Systems, VisionAIR, GE MDS, RuggedCom, Honeywell, and Siemens Industry. Tony is committed to unrelenting integrity and providing value to all stakeholders, including potential clients and shareholders. Tony received his B.S. in Management Information Systems with a Computer Science emphasis from Excelsior College and completed graduate work toward his MBA and Old Dominion University.
DIRECTOR OF QA
Boris Tseitin joined iS5 Communications in 2014 as a QA Team Manager. He established and spearheaded the QA team activities and firmware version management of all products at the company and introduced automation testing as a part of the software development process. Boris is an ISTQB certified professional with over 22 years of experience in QA and 18+ years managing mid and large size QA teams. His major accomplishments as a Sr. QA Manager at Avaya Inc. were managing multiple teams of QA engineers and automation developers in data networking and IP telephony areas through entire projects life cycle. Prior to iS5, he was a QA Team Manager for Sangoma Inc., where he led the automation development for the company’s product line and managed the QA automation developers. When Boris started as a QA Engineer at Lucent Technologies/Avaya Inc., his responsibilities included integration and testing of different data networking solutions. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family, roller blading, and ice skating. Boris Tseitin has a Bachelor’s Degree (BA) in Management and Computer Sciences and an ISTQB certificate from Software QA Analyst Certificate Program. He also qualified as an ASP.NET WEB Developer and is a holder of few patents related to OT and data networking.

Natalie Zavaglia joined iS5 Communications in April 2018 as a H&R Manager. She is instrumental in establishing and managing the HR function at the company and fostering the company corporate culture. Natalie brings to iS5 Communications more than 10 years of HR expertise in different industries including telecommunications, travel, and insurance. Prior to iS5, she was a HR Manager for Solar Provider Group LLC, a global renewable energy company, where she excelled in managing the full spectrum of HR programs and services. Previously, Natalie Zavaglia held multiple HR roles at Ruggedcom / Siemens Canada Limited. Outside of work, she is an avid gardener and enjoys running with her chocolate Labrador. Natalie has a Bachelor’s Degree (BA) in History from York University and a postgraduate certificate in Human Resource Management from Humber College.
DIRECTOR OF IT
Stephen Mazzuca in his 15 years of experience in Information Technology, has provided support in the capacity of help desk, applications specialist, network infrastructure and Security for the IT space. He has lead teams of IT Specialists and provided direction on standards for implementing best practice methodologies for companies. As Infrastructure Lead with Siemens, he assisted in the successful integration of RuggedCom’s Network into Siemens Network, which included the applications and infrastructure requirements following the acquisition in 2012. He remained on, managing global solution implementations and providing services as the Information Security Contact. He continues to keep himself updated on the newest technologies, applications and threats in the IT space to ensure a proper implementation and integration in both start-ups and large corporations. Stephen graduated from Humber College with a diploma in Computer and Network Support.

Mr. Huff is a co-founder and Managing Director of ClearSky. ClearSky is a venture capital/growth equity firm focused on investments in transformative technologies disrupting the power and security sectors. Mr. Huff is also Managing Director of Emerging Technologies of a Fortune 200 energy company. He has extensive financial experience including structuring, due diligence and execution of debt and equity transactions in the power, technology, and security spaces. Mr. Huff has served on the Boards of Directors of multiple ClearSky portfolio companies, seeing several through to successful exits.
Managing Director of Phoenix Contact Innovation Ventures the Corporate Venture Capital Company of Phoenix Contact and Senior Director M&A of Phoenix Contact Group. Responsible for all investments and M&A activities worldwide and in different board of directors. Marcus was acting former for a public listed utility and machine builder in the department of Corporate Development and M&A.
Mr. Rauch is a Vice President and part of the founding team of ClearSky. ClearSky is a venture capital/growth equity firm focused on investments in transformative technologies disrupting the power and security sectors. Prior to joining ClearSky, Mr. Rauch held a corporate development role at a Fortune 200 energy company and held several engineering roles supporting multiple spaceflight programs, including NASA’s Space Shuttle Program.
Dipl.-Ing. Martin Müller
Martin Müller, Vice President I/O and Networks at Phoenix Contact Electronics GmbH, Bad Pyrmont After studying electrical engineering with focus on information technology, he began his professional career at Phoenix Contact in the Development department of Microelectronics in 1988. From 1995 until 2000, he had been in charge of the System Marketing department within Product Marketing Interbus. Until 2011, Martin Müller was responsible for Marketing of the Business Unit Automation Systems. In May 2011, he assumed the management of the Business Unit I/O and Networks including the functional areas Marketing, Development and Production. Martin Müller is active in various committees, like the Advisory Board of the Profibus User Organisation and the GMA Advisory Board of the VDI/VDE Society, and Chairman of the Technical Committee Electronic Industrial Controls in the ZVEI (German Association of the Electrical and Electronic Industry).
Sunil is currently President of Volante Systems, a portfolio company where he is scaling up operations to meet growth from strategic customers. He also manages several of Trellis’s portfolio companies through representation on their Board of Directors. Previously, Sunil was a member of Royal Bank Equity Partners where he invested in over 35 companies over his 11-year tenure, many of which have had successful exits.
