The RAPTOR may be ordered from the factory with support for Power over Ethernet, PoE, in which case it requires an external power supply to provide the PoE power to the line modules. The RAPTOR supports IEEE 802.3af (15.4W), IEEE 802.3at PoE+ (30W), and IEEE 802.3bt Type 3 (60W).
The RAPTOR chassis supports up to 720W of PoE, where slots 1-3 each may deliver up to a maximum of 240W each.
